1. Tổng quan
SmartStash được thiết kế theo nguyên tắc offline-first (ưu tiên ngoại tuyến): ứng dụng hoạt động ngay trên thiết bị của bạn: dữ liệu của bạn mặc định chỉ nằm trên thiết bị. Chỉ khi bạn chủ động dùng tính năng sao lưu lên mây của SmartStash hoặc đổi mã khuyến mại thì một phần dữ liệu mới được gửi tới máy chủ của nhà phát triển (xem mục 2, 3 và 5). Chính sách này mô tả dữ liệu ứng dụng chạm tới, dữ liệu đó nằm ở đâu và bạn kiểm soát nó như thế nào.
2. Dữ liệu đồ đạc của bạn
Thông tin bạn tạo trong ứng dụng — món đồ, vị trí, ghi chú, thông tin bảo hành và hình ảnh — được lưu trên thiết bị của bạn.
Khi bạn chủ động bật tính năng đồng bộ, một bản sao lưu được lưu vào Google Drive của chính bạn, trong thư mục dữ liệu riêng của ứng dụng. Bản sao lưu được mã hoá bằng mật khẩu sao lưu do bạn tự đặt theo nguyên tắc zero-knowledge: nhà phát triển không có mật khẩu này, không đọc được nội dung bản sao lưu và không thể khôi phục hộ nếu bạn quên mật khẩu.
Khi bạn chủ động bật sao lưu lên mây của SmartStash, một bản sao lưu mã hoá được lưu trên máy chủ của nhà phát triển (hạ tầng Cloudflare Workers + R2). Bản sao lưu được mã hoá bằng mật khẩu sao lưu do bạn tự đặt trước khi rời khỏi thiết bị theo nguyên tắc zero-knowledge: nhà phát triển không có mật khẩu này và không đọc được nội dung bản sao lưu. Máy chủ chỉ thấy tên file, dung lượng, ngày tải lên và mã tài khoản ẩn danh của bạn, dùng để giữ đúng số bản và hạn mức gói của bạn.
3. Tài khoản Google và đăng nhập
Đăng nhập Google được dùng cho hai mục đích: truy cập Google Drive của bạn để sao lưu và khôi phục (quyền truy cập bị giới hạn ở các tệp/thư mục dữ liệu do chính ứng dụng tạo ra — ứng dụng không truy cập các tệp khác trong Drive của bạn), và đổi mã khuyến mại.
Khi bạn đổi mã khuyến mại, ứng dụng gửi email và định danh tài khoản Google của bạn tới máy chủ của nhà phát triển để ghi nhận quyền lợi (mã đã đổi, gói được tặng, hạn dùng). Thông tin này chỉ dùng để quản lý quyền lợi và đối chiếu yêu cầu xoá, không dùng cho tiếp thị. Ngoài luồng đổi mã khuyến mại này, email và tên hiển thị chỉ được dùng để hiển thị trạng thái đăng nhập ngay trên thiết bị.
4. Dữ liệu chúng tôi không thu thập ở thời điểm hiện tại
- Ứng dụng hiện không tích hợp SDK phân tích hành vi hay báo cáo lỗi (crash) nào, và không chứa quảng cáo.
- Ứng dụng có hệ thống tài khoản phía máy chủ của nhà phát triển cho hai mục đích: (a) tài khoản sao lưu ẩn danh trên mây (mã tài khoản + mã hash token, không chứa tên hay email của bạn); (b) hồ sơ đổi mã khuyến mại (email + định danh tài khoản Google, gói được tặng, hạn dùng). Chúng tôi vẫn chưa kết nối dịch vụ quản lý gói đăng ký và không lưu trữ lịch sử mua hàng.
- Chúng tôi không bán, cho thuê hay chia sẻ dữ liệu của bạn cho bên thứ ba vì mục đích tiếp thị.
5. Dữ liệu di chuyển khi nào
Dữ liệu chỉ di chuyển theo hành động của bạn: giữa thiết bị của bạn và tài khoản Google Drive của chính bạn khi bạn bật đồng bộ, sao lưu hoặc khôi phục; từ thiết bị lên máy chủ của nhà phát triển dưới dạng bản sao lưu đã mã hoá khi bạn bật sao lưu lên mây; và email + định danh tài khoản Google tới máy chủ của nhà phát triển khi bạn đổi mã khuyến mại. Ngoài ba luồng đó, ứng dụng không truyền dữ liệu đồ đạc của bạn ra ngoài thiết bị.
6. Lưu trữ và bảo mật
- Dữ liệu trên thiết bị nằm trong vùng lưu trữ riêng của ứng dụng trên hệ điều hành.
- Bản sao lưu trên Google Drive được mã hoá trước khi rời khỏi thiết bị; khoá mã hoá suy ra từ mật khẩu sao lưu mà chỉ bạn biết.
- Bản sao lưu trên mây của SmartStash cũng được mã hoá trước khi rời khỏi thiết bị bằng mật khẩu sao lưu mà chỉ bạn biết; nhà phát triển không giải mã được nội dung. Máy chủ giữ 2 bản mới nhất và kiểm tra hạn mức theo gói đã ghi nhận cho tài khoản của bạn.
- Bạn có thể bật khoá ứng dụng bằng mã PIN/sinh trắc học trong phần Cài đặt của ứng dụng.
7. Quyền của bạn và việc xoá dữ liệu
Vì dữ liệu nằm trên thiết bị và Google Drive của chính bạn, bạn toàn quyền xoá nó bất cứ lúc nào. Bản sao lưu trên mây của SmartStash và hồ sơ đổi mã không tự xoá khi bạn xoá ứng dụng: để xoá chúng, gửi yêu cầu tới email hỗ trợ (xem trang Xoá tài khoản & dữ liệu), chúng tôi xử lý trong tối đa 30 ngày.
8. Trẻ em
SmartStash là ứng dụng quản lý đồ đạc gia đình, không hướng tới trẻ em dưới 13 tuổi và không cố ý thu thập dữ liệu của trẻ em.
9. Thay đổi chính sách này
Khi các giai đoạn phát triển tiếp theo được mở (ví dụ: máy chủ của nhà phát triển, gói đăng ký trả phí, công cụ báo cáo lỗi), chính sách này sẽ được cập nhật và ghi rõ ngày cập nhật trước khi các thay đổi về dữ liệu đó có hiệu lực. Nội dung hiện tại chỉ phản ánh đúng cách ứng dụng đang hoạt động ở thời điểm ghi trên đầu trang.

Privacy Policy — SmartStash
1. Overview
SmartStash is designed to be offline-first: the app works on your device, and your data stays on your device by default. Only when you actively use SmartStash cloud backup or redeem a promo code is some data sent to the developer's server (see sections 2, 3 and 5). This policy describes what data the app touches, where that data lives, and how you control it.
2. Your item data
Everything you create in the app — items, locations, notes, warranty information and photos — is stored on your device.
If you choose to enable sync, an encrypted backup is stored in your own Google Drive, in the app's private data folder. The backup is encrypted with a backup password that you set, on a zero-knowledge basis: the developer does not have this password, cannot read the contents of your backup, and cannot recover it for you if you forget the password.
If you actively enable SmartStash cloud backup, an encrypted backup is stored on the developer's server (Cloudflare Workers + R2 infrastructure). The backup is encrypted with a backup password that you set before it leaves your device, on a zero-knowledge basis: the developer does not have this password and cannot read the contents of your backup. The server only sees the file name, size, upload date and your anonymous account identifier, used to enforce the number of versions kept and your plan quota.
3. Google account and sign-in
Google sign-in is used for two purposes: accessing your Google Drive for backup and restore (access is limited to the data files/folder created by the app itself — the app does not access other files in your Drive), and redeeming promo codes.
When you redeem a promo code, the app sends your Google account email and account identifier to the developer's server to record the entitlement (code redeemed, plan granted, expiry). This information is used only to manage entitlements and to verify deletion requests, never for marketing. Outside of the promo-redemption flow, your email and display name are used only to show the sign-in status on your device.
4. Data we do not currently collect
- The app currently contains no analytics or crash-reporting SDK, and no advertising.
- The app has an account system on developer servers for two purposes: (a) an anonymous cloud backup account (account identifier + token hash, containing neither your name nor your email); (b) a promo-redemption record (Google email + account identifier, plan granted, expiry). We are still not connected to any subscription-management service and do not store purchase history.
- We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. When data moves
Data only moves at your direction: between your device and your own Google Drive account when you enable sync, back up or restore; from your device to the developer's server as an encrypted backup when you enable cloud backup; and your Google email + account identifier to the developer's server when you redeem a promo code. Outside of those three flows, the app does not transmit your item data off your device.
6. Storage and security
- On-device data is kept in the app's private storage area provided by the operating system.
- Backups are encrypted on your device before they leave it; the encryption key is derived from your backup password, which only you know.
- SmartStash cloud backups are likewise encrypted before they leave your device with a backup password only you know; the developer cannot decrypt their contents. The server keeps the 2 newest versions and enforces the quota of the plan recorded for your account.
- You can protect the app with a PIN/biometric lock in the app's Settings.
7. Your rights and data deletion
Because your data lives on your device and in your own Google Drive, you can delete it at any time. SmartStash cloud backups and promo records are not deleted automatically when you delete the app: to delete them, send a request to our support email (see the Account & Data Deletion page); we process such requests within no more than 30 days.
8. Children
SmartStash is a household item-management app. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes to this policy
When later development phases are released (for example: a developer-operated server, paid subscriptions, a crash-reporting tool), this policy will be updated, with the update date shown, before those data changes take effect. The content above reflects only how the app works as of the date at the top of this page.
